Ordinary Things

JUGS are are the kind of objects we rarely think about until we need them.
I've been making porcelain vessels for years. Alongside them, I've found myself returning to drawing. Not in the service of design, but simply returning to drawing as its own expression.

While making the vessels, I kept returning to Aldo Rossi's still life studies, where ordinary objects appear as theatrical characters with distinct personalities.
For now, the drawings and the vessels sit side by side in my studio, and I'm curious how they will inform the environments they inhabit.

I'm excited to share that the JUGS collection is now available on 1stDibs.
This fall, a selection of JUGS will also be on view at Armadillo in Los Angeles and San Francisco. They'll be used to serve guests alongside our sculptural lighting.
Discover the full collection HERE.
And as always, you are welcome to visit our studio. Simply reach out. We'd love to see you.
